This is my gift for father’s day. He asked for some patchwork… He loves Sushi and since Japan has been in our thoughts these days… this is what I made.

I want to participate in the SAL but I want to know how much background fabric to purchase to do a lap size quilt. The light for the center of the patterns and the setting pieces as well. I like your setting insane ideas. For me one or 2 blocks of each will do. I love the swan block as well did you design it?
